Twyning Park Wedding

Romantic wedding at Glenfall House, Cheltenham

Twyning Park Wedding Photography - Giles & Jodie

When Giles and Jodie first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so happy – they were planning a religious church ceremony including a christening for their son and a really fun outdoor reception with a cocktail bar. Giles and Jodie are the most wonderful people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Bride & Groom Prep

I started the morning at Twyning Park, where both the bride and groom and their parties were getting ready. Twyning Park is a stunning Grade II listed country house overlooking the beautiful River Avon. Giles and his groomsmen wore a very dapper three-piece suit and Jodie wore a beautiful classic white dress and they all looked really incredible.

The Ceremony

The wedding took place at St Mary Magdalene Church and was a beautiful church ceremony. They had several lovely readings from friends and family and the ceremony also included the christening of their awesome little boy.  After the ceremony, they walked down the aisle together, and then outside where they were showered with confetti.

The Reception

After the ceremony, everyone traveled back to Twyning Park. It was a beautifully sunny day, which was perfect for the outdoor reception and meal. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, the couple mingled and laughed with their friends while I captured candid photos.

The Party

During the reception, they had the amazing magician Jester Styles, who everyone loved. For the meal, they had an epic BBQ which was absolutely delicious. Afterward, they had some wonderful speeches, including a very funny best man’s speech, and then had their first dance outside in front of the house with a live band performing their song.

Below you will find some of my favourite images from the wedding.
