Tom & Holly's enchanting Cotswolds wedding day

Cotswolds Wedding Photography - Tom & Holly

When Tom and Holly first got in touch with me about their Cotswolds wedding, I was so thrilled – they were planning a traditional Christian wedding with a church ceremony followed by canapes and drinks for the reception. Tom and Holly wanted relaxed, natural photos of the day and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

The Excitement Before The Wedding

I started the day at St Peter’s Church in Winchcombe. It was a ridiculously hot summers morning where the groom and his groom’s men were enjoying a pre-wedding drink at the local pub. It was so relaxed and everyone was in a really good mood. Tom and his groomsmen looked very dapper in their navy suits and pink ties.

The Ceremony

The wedding took place at St Peter’s Church, a stunning 15th century church and it was a perfect venue for the church ceremony. Holly and her bridesmaids arrived at the church in a classic vintage car and they all looked really incredible. During the ceremony, they had several beautiful readings from friends and family, which was just magical. After the ceremony, they walked down the aisle together, and then we did a confetti tunnel outside the church.’

The Reception

The wedding reception took place Glenfall House, a gorgeous Grade II Listed Manor House in the Cotswolds situated just two miles from Cheltenham. It was a beautifully sunny day by the time the guests arrived and they were greeted with much-needed ice-cold beers and chilled champagne. While the guests enjoyed live music, I mingled amongst the guests capturing all the fun and laughter.

One of my favourite photos from the afternoon is this image of Holly’s reflection in Tom’s sunglasses. Check it out below!

During the reception, they had the super talented live singer and guitarist Billy Driscoll, which gave the afternoon a lovely chilled vibe. For the food, the venue served a delicious 3-course meal which was loved by all the guests. Afterward, the wedding party gave some very funny and often emotional speeches which were received with plenty of tears and laughter.

Below you will find some of my favourite images from the wedding.
