Goldsborough Hall Wedding

A Fabulous Summer Wedding at Goldsborough Hall - David & Ganni

Nestled on 12 acres of landscaped gardens sits the stunning 400-year-old, Goldsborough Hall. This gorgeously presented stately home just outside of Knaresborough provides a secluded and tranquil setting for the most beautiful wedding. With an incredible drawing room for ceremonies, luxurious accommodation and a light and airy orangery for receptions, Goldborough Hall provides a charming and elegant backdrop for any couple’s wedding.

With its breathtaking views of the gardens, the imposing 8 foot four-poster bed, and the impressive sunken bath, the Presidential Suite was the perfect setting for the morning’s bridal prep. The bridal party was full of excitement (and prosecco) and the hair and makeup were in full swing when I arrived and I immediately got to work. After a lot of laughter and emotional moments, it was time for the father of the bride to escort his beautiful daughter the the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony was held in the beautifully dressed drawing room of Goldsborough Hall and both David & Ganni looked amazing. It was a wonderful ceremony with lots of heartfelt moments between the couple and their friends and families. After the ceremony, everybody congregated in the beautiful gardens to bathe in the warming summer sun and enjoy some ice-cold champagne with the happy couple.

The reception was held in the stunning Orangery, a huge space with large windows and a glass ceiling providing an abundance of natural light (a photographer’s dream). The guests were treated to some very heart-felt speeches before being treated again to a delicious dinner. After the meal, everybody retired to the grounds for a few more drinks and photos before the fantastic band kicked off the evening party.

Below you will find some of my favourite images from the wedding.
