My style of wedding photography is natural, relaxed, and influenced by my love of street photography. Some might say I shoot in a documentary or photojournalism style, others might call it candid photography.

Personally, I like to think of it as stress-free and real wedding photography!

But whatever you want to call it, my approach is all about shooting from the inside out. By blending in with the guests on the day (well, as much as a 6ft 6″ bearded tree with a camera can) and being as ‘hands-off’ and unobtrusive as possible, my photography captures all those real unscripted moments. All the love, laughter, and fun times shared by you and your guests throughout the day.

But don’t get me wrong, I genuinely love having a laugh and will get stuck in and help out if needed. I’ve tied many a tie and affixed many a buttonhole and on the odd occasion also been a chauffeur, messenger, childminder, emotional support and hype man. Hell, I might even be able to handle a half up half down hairdo at a push!

And even though 99% of the time I’m shooting with a candid approach, I am always more than happy to do some formal images and couple photos if you want them (obviously it’s nice to do a few). But because we won’t spend hours doing hundreds of group combinations with distant cousins you’ve never met, you can spend much more of your time enjoying the day with your friends and family, relaxed knowing I’m capturing everything as it happens.
